The Barn Theatre Launches New Lockdown Shakespeare Series
The Barn Theatre in Cirencester have announced a new Shakespeare series which sees the Bard's beloved monologues reimagined to fit into modern day lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic. The series will release a new monologue every weekday to the Barn Theatre's Facebook, YouTube and Twitter accounts, beginning 20th April 2020.
Theatre503 Announces 2020 Programming
Artistic Director Lisa Spirling today announces an entire year of programming for 2020 at the home of new writers, including the news that all four remaining finalists of the 2018 Theatre503 International Playwriting Award will be staged at the venue by November 2020. This follows on from the success of Award winner Out of Sorts by Danusia Samal premiering in October 2019. In February, the search for the best debut and emerging writers in the world will begin again as the 2020 Theatre503 International Playwriting Award opens for submissions.

The Other Room Announces Autumn 2019 Season Of Three Brand New Plays
Today, Cardiff's pub theatre The Other Room, located in Porter's and winner of The Stage's Fringe Theatre of the Year Award, announces its Autumn 2019 season, entitled THE VIOLENCE SERIES. The season is an anthology of three brand new plays commissioned and produced by The Other Room, with work from writers Matthew Bulgo, Tess Berry-Hart and Mari Izzard. The season will run at The Other Room from August and will then tour Wales and England in the Spring of 2020.
TREMOR Comes to Edinburgh Fringe
A timely exploration of how society reacts to tragedy, Welsh playwright Brad Birch asks pertinent questions about how major events shape our lives, and the choices we make when trying to move on. Tremor is a play about how the present is shaped by the past, and about how we choose to see things and live our lives in a world riven with tension, anxiety and division. Directed by David Mercatali, Tremor received its world premiere at the Sherman Theatre before heading to New York where it played 59E59 Theaters as part of the Brits Off Broadway festival.

Brits Off Broadway continues at 59E59 Theaters (Val Day, Artistic Director; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) with the US premiere of TREMOR, written by Brad Birch and directed by David Mercatali. Produced by Sherman Theatre (Wales), TREMOR begins performances on Tuesday, May 15 for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 10.

Casting Announced For Sherman Theatre's TREMOR
The cast for Brad Birch's Tremor at Sherman Theatre has been announced. The production, which will be directed by Sherman Theatre's Associate Director David Mercatali, will run from 12 Apr - 5 May at Wales's leading venue for new writing - which last week won The Stage's award for Best Regional Theatre.
