Experience the magic of Appalachian folklore with Adventure Theatre MTC's SING DOWN THE MOON, running from April 26 to May 26, 2024. A captivating journey into wonder tales for all ages.
Six Playmakers Selected for 2017 Playwrights' Arena at Arena Stage

Six D.C.-area playmakers have been selected to participate in the third installment of Playwrights' Arena, a year-long program that invites a small group of local theater makers to investigate their artistic process and develop their dramaturgical practice. The program is co-facilitated by Arena Stage Deputy Artistic Director Seema Sueko and Dramaturg Jocelyn Clarke, and participants convene once per month at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater.

Kanawha Players to Present SING DOWN THE MOON: APPALACHIAN WONDER TALES, 6/28-29

Sing Down the Moon: Appalachian Wonder Tales will be performed at the Kanawha Players Theater located at 309 Beauregard Street, Charleston, West Virginia, 25301. Performances will be on June 28 and 29 at 7pm and June 30, 2013, at 2:00p.m. Tickets are $16 for adults $10 for students with IDs and Children 17 and under. Media night will be June 25, 2013 at 7:00pm.

'A View from the Bridge' To Receive First Guthrie Staging

The Guthrie today announced complete casting for A View from the Bridge, the timeless tragedy by quintessential American dramatist Arthur Miller. Director Ethan McSweeny (A Body of Water, Romeo and Juliet, Six Degrees of Separation) returns for this first-ever Guthrie staging of Miller's acclaimed play, which begins previews September 13.
