HBO Max has ordered the Max Original DC drama DEAD BOY DETECTIVES to series. From Emmy® nominee Steve Yockey (“The Flight Attendant”), “Doom Patrol’s” Jeremy Carver, Berlanti Productions, and Warner Bros. Television, DEAD BOY DETECTIVES is an eight-episode horror detective series born from DC’s “The Sandman” and “Dead Boy Detectives” comics.

AMC Renews NOS4A2 for Second Season

Ahead of its season one finale, AMC today announced that it has renewed supernatural horror series “NOS4A2” for a 10-episode second season. The series, which is based on the best-selling 2013 Joe Hill novel of the same name, made its Comic-Con debut today in San Diego where cast members Zachary Quinto and Ashley Cummings, showrunner and executive producer Jami O'Brien and executive producer Joe Hill shared the news of the renewal during the show's panel. For the current television season, “NOS4A2” ranks as a Top 20 cable drama and the #2 new basic cable drama among adults 25-54 and 18-49 in Nielsen Live +3 viewing. The second season of “NOS4A2” will go into production this fall and will air on AMC in 2020. 
AMC Greenlights First Episodic Anthology Series

AMC announced today that it has greenlit a new, yet-to-be-titled original episodic anthology drama created by Emmy-Award winning writer Will Bridges (“Black Mirror,” “Stranger Things”) and Brett Goldstein (“Superbob,” “Adult Life Skills”). Bridges and Goldstein will executive produce with Jolyon Symonds through Fearless Minds, a Banijay Group company ('Thorne' series for Sky One, “Complicit”). The Untitled Bridges/Goldstein Project, produced by AMC Studios, will consist of six, hour-long episodes, and is slated for a 2020 debut on AMC.
AMC Greenlights Third THE WALKING DEAD Spinoff

AMC today announced that it has greenlit the third series in the expanding universe of The Walking Dead, an original drama co-created by Scott M. Gimple, chief content officer of The Walking Dead universe, and Matt Negrete, who has been a writer and producer on The Walking Dead for the past five seasons and will be showrunner of the new series. Produced and distributed by AMC Studios, the series will begin production on 10 episodes this summer in Virginia and premiere on AMC in 2020.
AMC Opens Writers' Room for 61ST STREET

AMC today announced that it had opened up a writers' room for '61st Street,' a potential new AMC Studios' series from BAFTA-winner Peter Moffat ('Criminal Justice' The Night Of,') as showrunner and executive producer, to be executive produced by Michael B. Jordan's Outlier Society ('David Makes Man'). The project is being developed as part of AMC's 'scripts-to-series' model, which opens writers' rooms to develop potential series that, in success, move straight-to-series.

AMC's LODGE 49 is Renewed for Second Season

Ahead of its season one finale, AMC today announced that it has renewed its critically acclaimed modern fable “Lodge 49” for a second season. Wyatt Russell (“Black Mirror,” “Everybody Wants Some”) will reprise his starring role as Sean “Dud” Dudley. Creator, writer and executive producer Jim Gavin returns as does Peter Ocko (“Pushing Daisies,” “The Office”) as executive producer and showrunner. Additional executive producers include Paul Giamatti (“Billions,” Sideways, “Outsiders,” “Hoke”), Dan Carey (“Outsiders,” “Hoke,” John Dies at the End, All Is Bright), and Jeff Freilich (“Halt and Catch Fire,” “Grace and Frankie”). The second season of “Lodge 49” will go into production and will air on AMC in 2019 with 10 episodes. “Lodge 49” is an AMC Studios production.

AMC announced today that it has green-lit a new original anthology series, 'Dispatches From Elsewhere,' created by and starring Jason Segel. Segel will executive produce with Scott Rudin, Eli Bush and Garrett Basch. The hour-long anthology series will include viewer engagement elements across multiple media platforms.

Woo is also set to serve as showrunner. The next season of 'The Terror' anthology is expected to air on AMC in 2019 with 10 episodes. AMC announced today an August 6 premiere date for its original series “Better Call Saul” and “Lodge 49.” Season four of the critically acclaimed and Emmy®-nominated “Better Call Saul,” produced by Sony Pictures Television, will air Monday, August 6 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT immediately followed by the series premiere of “Lodge 49” at 10:00 PM ET/PT. Both series will have a presence at the ATX Television Festival, taking place June 7-10 in Austin, Texas, including a panel with “Better Call Saul” executive producer Vince Gilligan and star Bob Odenkirk, and a sneak peek screening of the “Lodge 49” premiere followed by a panel with stars Wyatt Russell and Brent Jennings and executive producers Peter Ocko and Dan Carey.
AMC Greenlights DIETLAND Companion Talk Show, UNAPOLOGETIC With Aisha Tyler

AMC announced today that it has greenlit a “Dietland” companion talk show, “Unapologetic with Aisha Tyler.” Produced for AMC by Embassy Row (“Talking Dead,” “Beyond Stranger Things,” “Watch What Happens Live”), the unscripted series hosted by Tyler (“Criminal Minds,” “Archer”) will air live on Mondays beginning June 4, immediately following episodes of AMC's new original series “Dietland.” The first episode of “Unapologetic with Aisha Tyler” will air on Monday, June 4 at 11:00 pm after two back-to-back episodes of “Dietland,” and will then move to its regular weekly timeslot of 10:00 pm ET the following week. Unlike a conventional after show confined to the companion series itself, “Unapologetic” will feature Tyler leading a topical discussion around the broader, female-centric issues and themes that “Dietland” explores. Tyler will be talking with celebrity fans, series actors and producers, as well as relevant journalists, writers, comedians and other tastemakers. Embassy Row's Michael Davies and Amanda McPhillips serve as executive producers.
AMC Greenlights New Original Horror Series NOS4A2

AMC announced today that it has greenlit a new supernatural horror series, 'NOS4A2,' based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Joe Hill, who will also executive produce the series. Jami O'Brien ('Fear The Walking Dead,' 'Hell On Wheels') created the show for television, and will serve as showrunner and executive producer along with executive producer Lauren Corrao, Co-President of Tornante Television. The series is produced by AMC Studios in association with Tornante Television. The series will premiere with 10 episodes in 2019.
