Ten strangers meet on a clandestine island. Each holds a murderous secret. Who will pay the ultimate price? Drury Lane Theatre announces casting for the edge-of-your-seat murder mystery And Then There Were None, written by Agatha Christie and directed by Jessica Fisch. And Then There Were None runs July 12 September 1, 2019, at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace. The press opening is scheduled for Thursday, July 25 at 8:00 p.m.
Dog Days Theatre Presents Orton's WHAT THE BUTLER SAW
Dog Days Theatre begins its second season with Joe Orton's farce What the Butler Saw, playing July 12 through 29 in the Cook Theatre at FSU Center for Performing Arts in Sarasota. Single tickets are $30, or a season ticket package-paired with Dog Days Theatre's August production of The Turn of the Screw-is available for $55. What the Butler Saw is made possible with support from The Observer, Sarasota County Tourist Development Tax Services, The Exchange, and WUSF Public Media, and is presented by FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training.

Each summer, Dog Days Theatre will feature two plays mounted in the Cook Theatre, located in the FSU Center for the Performing Arts, using professional actors, directors and designers from the community and around the country along with the talents of the Conservatory's graduate students.

As a singer and songwriter, Hank Williams changed the face of not only country music, but music in general, forever. From September 4- 28, the Clarence Brown Theatre will stage the biographical retelling of his life in Hank Williams: Lost Highway. Rolling Stone called the show, "Exhilarating! A rare achievement in musical theater!" And, the NY Post called Lost Highway, "the best example of a musician's bio put on stage I've ever seen!" Clarence Brown Theatre to Open 2013-14 Season with NOISES OFF, 9/5-22
Lacy lingerie and lots and lots of sardines abound in the Clarence Brown Theatre season opener 'Noises Off' playing on the mainstage September 5-22, 2013. The two-time Tony nominated farce written by Michael Frayn looks at the follies of theatre people, whose susceptibility to out-of-control egos, memory loss and passionate affairs turns every performance into quite the adventure. If you enjoy a good laugh, this production is definitely for you. The New York Times critic Frank Rich called it 'the funniest play written in my lifetime.'
