The True, an intimate portrait of the bounds of love, loyalty and female power in the male-dominated world of 1977 patronage politics, will open on Tuesday April 5, 2022, at Capital Repertory Theatre (251 North Pearl Street) with previews starting on Friday, April 1 and running through Sunday, April 24.

Wheelhouse Theater Company today announced that it will present a staged reading of ORACLES: MURDER AT THE CROSSROADS AND OEDIPUSGATE a?" A DOUBLE BILL, written by Jonathan Lynn and directed by Wheelhouse's Artistic Director, Jeff Wise. The reading will be held at Manhattan Theatre Club Studios, 311 West 43rd St., on Thursday, 10/31 at 1:30 pm and Friday 11/01 at 11am. Featured in the cast will be Alfred Molina, Austin Pendleton, Nadia Bowers, Lori Tan Chinn, Janet Dacal, Christopher Hanke, and Magaret Odette. Fresh off the heels of their critically acclaimed revival of Happy Birthday, Wanda June, Wheelhouse Theater Company and its Founding Members, Matt Harrington, David Kenner, Michael Schantz, and Jeffrey Wise, has announced that it will present the New York Premiere of Aaron Posner's Life Sucks., March 22nd through April 20th at The Wild Project (195 East 3rd Street). The cast features Jeff Biehl, Nadia Bowers, Kimberly Chatterjee, Barbara Kingsley, Stacey Linnertz, Austin Pendleton, and Michael Schantz. Wheelhouse's Jeff Wise directs the production, which will have its official opening night on March 27th at 7:00PM.
