BIO

David was born and raised in London, England and moved to New York City in 2010, where he now lives permanently. He trained at 2 prestigious drama schools in London studying at LAMDA at aged 18 on their one year Foundation Course and then at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art (now Royal Central School of Speech and Drama) at age 21. Since leaving school he has constantly been trying to perfect his craft and has found his greatest passion in the works of Shakespeare playing roles such as Brutus, Puck, Macduff and Richard III for which he received a nomination as Best Actor at the 2014 Off-West End awards.

David is an Artistic Associate of Covent Garden based Iris Theatre Company, original member of Passion in Practice Shakespeare Company and most recently became an ambassador for The Shakespeare Society here in New York City. He is constantly looking for fresh challenges and feels that his experience with classical works has given him the tools to overcome any challenge.

After a highly successful reading at Covent Garden's Bates Theatre this past July, the new play The Lady Revealed, will receive another starry reading on Monday, March 16th (3PM) at New Dramatists (424 West 44th Street). Based on the life and works of A.L. Rowse, the reading will feature Bianca Amato, David Hywel-Baynes, Geoffrey Beevers, Patricia Conolly, Anthony Heald, Merritt Janson, T. Ryder Smith, Sam Underwood and Jake McCready. Written by Dr. Andrew B. Harris the reading will be directed by Illana Stein (Associate Director Tamburlaine the Great at Theatre for a New Audience) along with Broadway's Belasco Theatre manager Steffi Wallis working with New Dramatists as producer.
