PEAR SLICES 2020 Festival Digital Edition Begins May 15
With the craziness of recent weeks in the Bay Area and the world at large, small pieces of normality seem more precious. Pear Theatre is proud to announce its annual Pear Slices short-play showcase, directed by Troy Johnson and Betsy Kruse Craig, re-imagined to be COVID-compliant. Pear Slices 2020, a collection of original, one-act plays from members of the Pear Playwrights Guild, will for the first time ever be presented as a filmed-live video, accessible online beginning May 15.

TAKING STEPS Comes to Pear in January 2020
Pear Theatre kicks off the New Year with Alan Ayckbourn's hilarious farce, Taking Steps (directed by Troy Johnson). Taking Steps previews on Thursday, January 16, with press and Opening Night on Friday, January 17, followed by a champagne gala. The show runs Thursdays through Sundays through February 9. All performances are held at the Pear Theatre, 1110 La Avenida St., Mountain View. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.thepear.org or calling (650) 254-1148.
