Netflix has renewed the critically-acclaimed political drama The Diplomat for a third season, ahead of its Season 2 premiere on October 31. The news was shared by Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria on stage at the Bloomberg Screentime Conference in Los Angeles.

Netflix has revealed that the highly anticipated second season of the political drama The Diplomat will premiere on the streamer on October 31, 2024. The Diplomat stars Kari Russell, David Gyasi, Ali Ahn, Rory Kinnear, and Ato Essandoh. Allison Janney also joins the cast in Season 2 as Vice President Grace Penn.
