Just last night, New York Stage and Film held its annual Winter Gala, featuring performances and appearances by Tony Award nominee and Pulitzer Prize finalist Jon Robin Baitz, Tony Award nominee Santino Fontana, David Forman, Tony Award winner John Gallagher Jr, Grammy Award nominee Rob Hyman, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Mozhan Marno, Bonnie Milligan, Manu Narayan, Josh Radnor, Dee Roscioli, Academy Award and Tony Award winner John Patrick Shanley, Grammy Award and Tony Award winner Duncan Sheik, and Obie Award winner Lucy Thurber. Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra Announces Charlotte Marckx As 1st Place Winner of the BSO's 2017 Young Artist Concerto Competition

Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce the 1st Place Winner of the BSO's 2017 Young Artist Concerto Competition - Charlotte Marckx, a 14-year-old violinist from Bellevue, who performed Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto, first movement. Charlotte has performed on NPR's From the Top radio program and at their annual gala in Boston. She recently won the Washington State division of the Music Teacher's National Association competition, and will be advancing to the next round this winter. Previous honors include being one of four finalists in the 2015 Johansen International Competition held in DC, and a winner of the Seattle Young Artists Music Festival.

Joe's Pub at The Public presents Largo, a night of song from the legendary concept album, tonight, October 30 at 7:00PM. Largo was produced and written in 1998 by Rick Chertoff and Rob Hyman, with co-writing by David Forman and Eric Bazilian. The winner of Surfside's fourteenth annual Playwriting Contest is John Lineberger, a resident of Brevard County for the past five decades, and a long-time actor and director with Surfside Players. In his play, I Wanted Wings, John, Katherine, and Mark struggle to come to terms with the death of their father, and to try to make sense of a kind, selfless man choosing to destroy himself with alcohol… until a surprise phone call sheds new light on his experiences on a B-17 'Flying Fortress' bomber in World War II, and how war changed him and ultimately the lives of the families of all of the crewmen he flew with.

If you can remember that there ever was a Jack Paar or Milton Berle, you'll plotz for 'Dollface,' a raunchy, witty musical comedy for the holiday season, conceived and written by B.J. Sebring, with lyrics by David Forman, music by David Forman & Rob Hyman with additional material by Bette Midler, Rick Chertoff, Eric Bazilian and Lou Bellofatto. The naughty Christmas tuner was introduced as a workshop in Theater for the New City's Dream Up Festival this past summer. TNC is now presenting its premiere run December 23 to January 16 in its Johnson Theater.
TNC Shortens DOLLFACE Run, Adds Performance 2/8

DOLLFACE will now run December 23 thru January 9. This show will now close a week early due to a scheduling problem. A performance has been added Saturday, February 8 at 3:00 PM.
