Bravo! Vail Music Festival Announces 36th Season
London's acclaimed Academy of St Martin in the Fields makes its highly anticipated return to Bravo! Vail with Music Director Joshua Bell. World-renowned resident orchestras-the New York Philharmonic, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra-join for 17 programs led by Music Directors Jaap van Zweden, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, and Fabio Luisi, in addition to guest conductors Marin Alsop, Giancarlo Guerrero, Hannu Lintu, Stéphane Denève, Jeff Tyzik, and Justin Freer.
Livestreamed Performances from Caramoor Kick Off with Inon Barnatan
Caramoor, with its more than 80 acres of woodlands, gardens and outdoor performance space, is in a unique position to pivot from its traditional summer season and find new ways of inspiring audiences safely. Participating responsibly in New York's re-opening process, Caramoor's flexible Summer 20/2.0 program will feature livestreamed on-site performances, as well as live performances for low-density audiences, and tours of its gardens and sound art.

The Suffield Players Announce their Spring Production: Anything Goes, with Music and Lyrics by Cole Porter Book by P.G. Wodehouse, Guy Bolton, Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse. Directed by Jane Cerosky Musical Direction by Frank Jackson Choreography by Terry Rowe. The show runs May 1, 2, 3, 9, 10, 16 and 17 at 8 pm and May 11 and 18 at 2 pm at Mapleton Hall.
Neighborhood Classics Presents CONTEMPORANEOUS and FACE THE MUSIC Concerts, 12/1 & 2
The Neighborhood Classics concert series presents two concerts this weekend, December 1 and 2, 2012. Tonight, December 1 at 7pm, new music group Contemporaneous will perform a concert hosted by James Matheson, composer and Neighborhood Classics Artistic Director at P.S. 142, entitled "Shut Your Eyes" at P.S. 142 (100 Attorney St., NYC) on Manhattan's Lower East Side. On Sunday, December 2 at 3pm, the talented teenagers of Face the Music will perform a concert entitled "Why Am I Hearing Rock in my Classical Music?" at P.S. 69Q (77-02 37th Ave.) in Queens. All ticket sales for these one-hour, family-friendly concerts benefit the host schools

Featuring music of glass harmonica virtuoso Jonny Rodgers, avant-bluegrass guitarist Jordan Tice (The Jordan Tice Trio), and the singular percussionist Mathias Kunzli, currently on tour with Regina Spektor. This will take place on Colonels' Row tonight, September 3rd.
