Kravis Center Presents TEN GRANDS On February 18

In a lavish and breathtaking display, Ten Grands boasts ten grand pianos on stage at the same time. Several arrangements showcase all ten pianos playing together, and each of the artists performs a solo as well. This exceptional evening also includes a medley from Phantom of the Opera featuring the Kravis Center's George W. Mergens Memorial Organ. The one-night-only event takes place at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, February 18 at 8 pm.

Legendary local pianist David Crohan will once again lend his extraordinary talents at the piano during a performance of "The Best of David Crohan"as part of the monthly "Music for the Mind" concert series by the Kretzer Piano Music Foundation. The Lighthouse for the Blind of the Palm Beaches will benefit from this concert at the Harriet Himmel Theater at CityPlace on Tuesday, March 21.

Today, 437 local nonprofit organizations will be seeking donations during the second annual, 24-hour GREAT GIVE, sponsored by the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties and the United Way of Palm Beach County. But yesterday, 10 of these nonprofits united for a musical overture to this year's GREAT GIVE as nine talented pianists simultaneously played nine painted pianos in the poolside Palm Court at The Colony Hotel, Palm Beach.
