Spencer Theater Announces 2022 Summer Season
Catch what’s on stage at the Spencer Theater this Summer Season 2022, a popping 13-week calendar of live music, special events and dining fun. The vibrant line-up includes everything from traditional western swing, contemporary folk, gospel and classic country, iconic rock and pop superstars, award-winning Mediterranean (flamenco/Greek) guitar, folk and surf rock legends, full-stage tributes, and children’s musical theatre.Â

BWW Review: RUMORS at Desert Theatreworks is a Hilarious Evening of Fun.
Desert Theatreworks presents a Neil Simon play every season. This year's production is the 1988 farce, RUMORS, which is the perfect vehicle to show off DTW's team of talented actors' physical comedy skills. And they do show it off, in spades; the laughs keep coming, as much from the performers' and director Rebecca Havely's wizardry as from Neil Simon's script.

In this time of endless Brexit questions, the NHS in crisis and the world generally seeming to be going to hell in a handcart, a lighthearted and exuberant show like Legally Blonde is sometimes the perfect antidote. Based on the 2001 film, the award-winning show follows the cutesy and seemingly vacuous American sorority girl Elle as she finds her way into Harvard Law School in pursuit of her ex-boyfriend who claimed she wasn't 'serious' enough. Glittery, camp and very pink, the production follows Elle as she makes a surprising success of her quest through abounding positivity and stellar levels of self-belief.
