This new chapter of the groundbreaking HBO series 'Sex and the City' follows 'Carrie' (Sarah Jessica Parker), 'Miranda' (Cynthia Nixon) and 'Charlotte' (Kristin Davis) as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s. The ten-episode, half-hour series is scheduled to begin production in New York this summer.

Written by Kevin Olson and Soviet émigré Bena Shklyanoy and based on her life story, the performance captures a Kiev family's agonizing decision in 1976 to flee the Soviet Union for America and the challenging adjustment period that followed.
Cinemand Films Launches Financing Division
Cinemand has officially announced the launch of a new division called CINEMAND FILMS, with plans to finance original narrative features from filmmakers in both the theatrical and digital space. Cinemand Films first project, FUNNY STORY, wrapped production last week. The film is a feature-length tragicomedy starring Emily Bett Rickards (Brooklyn), Matthew Glave (Argo, Bravo's 'Girlfriend's Guide to Divorce'), and Jana Winternitz (The Thinning). The film, which features several lead LGBTQ characters and a predominately female cast, is set to have its world premiere at the 2018 Slamdance Film Festival.
