Noel Coward may well have been the arbiter of all things regarding propriety , social class, and manners. So it may have come as a shock to some that his witty play PRIVATE LIVES, now playing at Irish Classical Theatre, makes it clear that his upper crust characters certainly  do NOT always behave with the best possible manners. Therein lies the crux of the comedy that audiences love, in part, thanks to the bad behavior of his cast

Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) opens its second show of the 2022-2023 season with Guards at the Taj by Rajiv Joseph.  Winner of the 2016 Obie Award for Best New Play and 2016 Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Play, Guards at the Taj will open Thursday November 10 starring Darryl Semira* and Afrim Gjonbalaj* under the direction of RLTP Ensemble Member Katie Mallinson.

Starring Buffalo and the Academy of Theatre Arts have announced the cast for 'Besties of Broadway', an evening of song, dance and cocktails at The Bittersweet Piano Lounge on September 16 at 8pm. Casting has been announced and tickets are now on sale for Starring Buffalo's EVITA, April 3-4 at Shea's 710 Theater. Tony Award-Winner Lena Hall (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Kinky Boots) will play Eva, joining the previously announced Robi Hager (Spring Awakening, Bye Bye Birdie) as Che, Nicholas Rodriguez (Tarzan, The Sound of Music) as Juan Peron, Darryl Semira (Mamma Mia, Bombay Dreams) as Magaldi and Leah Berst (MusicalFare's Bright Star) as The Mistress. The ensemble features many of Buffalo's best, including Karen Grace Harty, Matthew Iwanski - Jackson, Katy Miner, Ben Michael Moran, Matthew Rivera, Raphael Santos and Alexandria Watts, as well as nearly 100 other Western New York singers, dancers, and musicians.
