Cast Announced For THE RAINMAKER at Peninsula Players Theatre
Peninsula Players Theatre, America's oldest professional resident summer theater and Door County's theatrical icon, is thrilled to announce the cast and creative team for “The Rainmaker” by N. Richard Nash. A road trip Nash took through the American west and a real-life rainmaker inspired him to write the story.

An older couple and their developmentally disabled, 30-year-old son, Mickey, await the arrival of their other son and his girlfriend for Christmas dinner. Traditional beliefs are tested and expectations challenged. In a surprising twist of fate, Mickey is the catalyst who brings them all together, and the family realizes the most important thing in life is love and acceptance of others.

KING O' THE MOON Comes to Circle Theatre
The Pazinski family returns to Circle's stage in King O' the Moon by Tom Dudzick, the second play in a trilogy inspired by the author's childhood. Circle produced Dudzick's Over the Tavern in 2005 and The Last Mass at St. Casimir's in 2007. Ten years after Over the Tavern, this sequel takes place during the rebellious '60's as Apollo 11 is on its voyage to the moon. The Pazinski's come together as their lives seem to fall apart. Prior knowledge of this working-class family is not a prerequisite to appreciate the hilarious and heartfelt end to the three part series at Circle.

The Adobe Theater to Present MY THREE ANGELS
The Adobe Theater is presenting the delightfully offbeat Christmas comedy My Three Angels from December 1st through the 18th, 2016. Written by the husband and wife team of Samuel Spewack and Bella Spewack from the French play "La Cuisine des Anges" by Albert Husson, My Three Angels opened on Broadway on March 11th, 1953, directed by Jose Ferrer and starring Walter Slezak, Jerome Cowan, and Darren McGavin as the "Angels," and ran for 344 performances. It was brought to the big screen in 1955 as We're No Angels, with Michael Curtiz directing, and Humphrey Bogart, Peter Ustinov, and Aldo Ray as the three unlikely heroes.
Tom Dudzick's DON'T TALK TO THE ACTORS Comes To Circle Theatre
The third play in Circle Theatre's 35th anniversary season is Tom Dudzick's backstage comedy, DON'T TALK TO THE ACTORS. A budding playwright's dreams are swept away into a theatrical nightmare when his play is optioned for Broadway. Mr. Dudzick's semi-autobiographical tale is bound to be another fan favorite at Circle, like his previous productions Over the Tavern (2005); The Last Mass at St. Casimir's (2007); Hail Mary! (2009); and Miracle on South Division Street (2013).
Jessica Hershberg, William Parry and Cooper Grodin to Star in Palm Beach Dramaworks' 110 IN THE SHADE This August
110 in the Shade, a richly evocative and touching musical about desperation, desire, and hope, opens at Palm Beach Dramaworks on Friday, August 14 (8pm) and heats up the Don & Ann Brown Theatre through August 23. The show, with music by Harvey Schmidt, lyrics by Tom Jones, and a book by N. Richard Nash based on his play The Rainmaker, will be presented in concert, with direction by Clive Cholerton, choreography by Michelle Petrucci, and musical direction by Howard Breitbart.
