BWW Review: RAIN Brings the Music and Magic of The Beatles LIVE to the Pantages!

RAIN performs the full range of The Beatles' discography live onstage, a total of 36 songs on the night I attended. It's quite a treat going from The Beatles appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show through 'Let it Be' and 'Hey Jude,' two of the last songs the group recorded together, with each album time shift accompanied by costume and physical appearance changes by the group as well as many historical films/videos reflecting what was going on in the world at the time, from Vietnam to protests at home, their meditation trip to India, and the overall madness of screaming fans at Shea Stadium on 8-15-65.
Beatles Tribute Concert LET IT BE Ends Broadway Run Today

The Broadway engagement of Let It Be concludes today, Sunday, September 1 at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street) following 46 performances and 9 previews. This Beatles concert experience, since it opened, has played to over 50,000 audience members. LET IT BE began previews Tuesday, July 16th and officially opened Wednesday, July 24th.
LET IT BE to Conclude Broadway Run at St. James Theatre Early; Closing Set for 9/1

The Broadway engagement of LET IT BE will conclude Sunday, September 1st at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street) following 46 performances and 9 previews. At the time of closing, the Broadway production is projected to have cumulatively grossed between 2 and 2.4 million dollars, playing to over 50,000 audience members. The show began previews Tuesday, July 16th and officially opened Wednesday, July 24th.

LET IT BE, the spectacular West End show celebrating the music of The Beatles, has released 250,000 new tickets ahead of its re-opening at the Savoy Theatre in London's West End on Friday 1 February 2013, following a hugely successful run at the Prince of Wales Theatre. West End's LET IT BE Recoups £1.6 Million Costs in 18 Weeks

The producers of LET IT BE today confirmed that the production has recouped at the box office the £1.6million the show cost to stage. The recoupment comes as the show finishes its 18 week run at the Prince of Wales Theatre and prepares to transfer to the Savoy Theatre from Friday 1 February 2013.
