Darcie Champagne

Darcie Champagne was born and raised in Manchester, NH. She moved to Boston at age 18 where she earned a BFA in Musical Theatre from Emerson College. Upon graduating she moved to New York City where she lived for seven years and earned her MFA in Acting from The Actors Studio Drama School at The New School. While in New York she was a featured performer in the first production of The Town Hall Theatre’s Broadways Rising Stars, Red Bull Theatre’s Off Broadway production of Women Beware Women, and had been seen at American Place Theatre, The Ohio Theatre, Theatre Row, and The Aztec Economy, among others. Darcie was a founding member of the theatre company, Working Man’s Clothes Productions, focusing on the development of new works, where she was an acting member of their Artistic Council.

Darcie is happily married to stage director and actor Jared Culverhouse. The two currently live in Western Massachusetts, where Jared is earning his MFA in Directing at The University of Massachusetts.

Darcie continues to work in theatre in Boston, New York, and Western Mass. She has most recently found an artistic home at The Majestic Theatre in West Springfield, MA and continues to work at American Repertory Theatre, Stoneham Theatre, and various professional theatres in the region.
