BIO
Danny is an actor and singer who grew up in St. Louis, MO and now resides in New York City. Before making it to New York, he lived in Pittsburgh where he received his B.F.A. in Drama studying drama and musical theatre at the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University. Since that time he has continued his voice and acting studies with such renowned teachers as Earle Gister, Ron Van Lieu, Caymichael Patten and Aaron Hagan.
Currently Danny is the stand by for Sweeney Todd and the Judge in the award winning, iconic, immersive production of "Sweeney Todd" off-Broadway at the Barrow Street Theatre where he played the titular role opposite 3 time Tony Nominee, Carolee Carmello as Mrs. Lovett, and stood by for Tony Award winner Norm Lewis. He portrayed the role of Javert in "Les Misérables" in three seperate productions inside of a year with North Shore Music Theatre, with a cast of 120 in the Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma's production at the beautiful 2,500 seat Civic Center and at the historic Arrow Rock Lyceum. Elsewhere, Danny has performed in New York and around the country at Tony Award winning venues such as Lincoln Center, The Old Globe, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Goodspeed Musicals, The Signature Theatre, The Denver Center, as well as the York Theatre Company, TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, The Cape Playhouse, St. Louis Repertory Theatre, Portland Center Stage, Fulton Theatre, Stages St. Louis, Stamford Center for the Arts, The MUNY, K.C. Starlight, Pittsburgh CLO, Hangar Theatre, Shadowland Theatre, Musicals Tonight, Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, Gallery Players, among others.
Danny received a Drammy Award for Outstanding Achievement for a Musical Actor in a Supporting role for his portrayal of Younger Brother in "Ragtime" at the Portland Center Stage. Over 120 area productions were considered.
