The production was recently treated to a visit from a few Carvel ice cream trucks that dished out delicious cups and cones to the show's hardworking company in honor of the milestone. Producers Sonia Friedman, Scott Landis and David Babani announced today that Emmy Award nominee Lea Michele, Tony and Olivier Award nominee Ramin Karimloo, 2022 Tony & Drama Desk Award nominee and Chita Rivera Award winner Jared Grimes and four-time Tony Award nominee Tovah Feldshuh have extended their critically acclaimed, record-breaking run in Broadway’s FUNNY GIRL through Sunday, September 3, 2023, when FUNNY GIRL will play its final performance at the August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street).

BroadwayWorld has learned that Funny Girl will be launching a national tour, with dates already confirmed for 2024 as part of Atlanta's 2023/2024 Broadway touring season, which also features the pre-Broadway national tour of The Wiz.

Ben Cameron’s Broadway Sessions, continues this week at it’s new home, The Green Room 42, Thursday, Nov. 17th. Broadway Sessions will welcome cast members from the hit Broadway revival of Funny Girl and more! Cast members slated to perform include Liz McCartney, Leslie Blake Walker, Danielle Kelsey, Masumi Iwai, Miriam Ali and more.

Beanie Feldstein Ends Her Run in FUNNY GIRL As Fanny Brice Today
Beanie Feldstein is ending her run starring as Fanny Brice in Broadway's FUNNY GIRL today, July 31st. She is the production's first original cast member to depart. Standby Julie Benko will take over the role through September 4 and before the much anticipated performance of Lea Michele as Fanny Brice beginning September 6.
