PYO Music Institute Receives First One-Million Dollar Legacy Gift
Maestro Louis Scaglione, President and Music Director, and the Board of Trustees of the PYO Music Institute (formerly known as the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra organization) are honored to announce the PYO Music Institute’s first one-million-dollar legacy gift from the estate of Dr. Ruth Rappaport. This Endowment is earmarked for PYO Music Institute’s program division, Tune Up Philly – Orchestral Pathways Program.
ALL OR NOTHING To Close At Ambassadors Theatre 12 May
ALL OR NOTHING - THE MOD MUSICAL, will close at the Ambassadors Theatre in London on Saturday 12 May 2018. The show, with book by Carol Harrison and music and lyrics by the Small Faces, opened at the Ambassadors Theatre on 28 March, following a sell-out season at the Arts Theatre. Before its London run, ALL OR NOTHING had enjoyed two years of success on tour around the UK.

Full casting is announced for the Ambassadors Theatre run of the critically acclaimed ALL OR NOTHING - THE MOD MUSICAL, with book by Carol Harrison and music and lyrics by the Small Faces. The show transfers to the Ambassadors Theatre in London's West End on 28 March, following a sell-out season at the Arts Theatre.

CSU Fullerton's RED SCARE ON SUNSET Opens 10/6 in the Hallberg Theatre
Red Scare on Sunset by Charles Busch, directed by CSUF graduate student Kyle Cooper, runs October 6-29, 2017 in the Hallberg Theatre on campus. Red Scare on Sunset is a funny and frighteningly pure parody of the 1950's Communist invasion of Hollywood. When film star Mary Dale discovers that her own husband has been lured into the local Communist party by way of a method-acting class, she wages a private war to save her husband and conquer the Beverly Hills Commies. The McCarthy era is turned on its head in this novel take on a serious subject. Red Scare on Sunset contains fog, haze, and herbal cigarettes.

The show, which opened to critical acclaim and nightly standing ovations at the Vaults Theatre in London in March 2016 before heading out on the first of two UK tours, announced this week that total ticket sales had topped over £1 million.
