The season will feature the New York Premiere of AMOC (American Modern Opera Company)’s How to Fall Apart composed by Carolyn Chen, the World Premiere of Eunbi Kim’s music and new media work it feels like a dream and more.
BWW Review: AWAY at La Boite
Set in the 1960s, first performed in the 1980s, Away is an Australian classic which tells the story of three stories woven together with an embedded Shakespearean text of A Midsummer Night's Dream and ending with a passage from King Lear. Filled with pop culture references to going away, it's a show about escapism and the simplicity of escaping to the beach. It explores the human condition and themes of love, pain, trauma, loneliness of youth.
Hayden Tee, Rob Compton, and Holly Dale Join The Royal Shakespeare Company's MATILDA
The Royal Shakespeare Company's Matilda The Musical has announced new casting with Hayden Tee playing Miss Trunchbull alongside Rob Compton and Holly Dale Spencer as Mr and Mrs Wormwood. Gina Beck will continue to play Miss Honey, having joined the company in September 2017. Isobel Hubble and Francesca McKeown will join Sarah Munday and Olivia Wells in sharing the title role of Matilda. The multi award-winning production is currently playing its seventh year in the West End and is booking until 20 October 2019.

The Daily Mail has reported that Sinead Cusack is set to star alongside Sir Ian McKellen an upcoming production of Shakespeare's King Lear. Cusack will portray Lear's loyal courtier Kent. The Mail describes her approach as playing the Earl as 'an Angela Merkel-esque, straight-talking woman.'

Cast Complete for Nina Raine's TRIBES at Sheffield Theatres
Artistic Director of Sheffield Theatres Robert Hastie today announces full casting for Kate Hewitt's production of Tribes by Nina Raine. Kate Hewitt, winner of the inaugural RTST Director Award Scheme, directs Ciaran Stewart (Billy), Emily Howlett (Sylvia), Simon Rouse (Christopher), Lindy Whiteford (Beth), Oliver Johnstone (Dan) and Louisa Connolly-Burnham (Ruth). The production opens on 3 July, with previews from 29 June, and runs until 22 July.
