TV Exclusive: Go Behind the Chansons with A SONG GOES ROUND THE WORLD, Coming to the Gatehouse
A Song Goes Round The World will be opening at Upstairs at the Gatehouse from April 25. It features French chansons stemming from the 1930s around the time of the Holocaust, which will be sung by Daniel Donskoy, who will be joined by a special guest each evening to sing with him. ???????Full cast is announced today for the upcoming premiere of Nicholas De Jongh's new play Pricked Out. Matthew Gould directs Sebastian Carrington-Howell (Seb), Chris Clynes (Will), Sean Delaney (Barnfield), Daniel Donskoy (Harry), Felicity Jolly (Viola), Peter Land (Mal), Paul Lavers (Sir Vane) and Rebecca Tanwen (Olive) in the production without decor which runs at the Kings Head Theatre from 25-29 March.
Brigit Forsyth to Lead World Premiere of NOW THIS IS NOT THE END at Arcola Theatre
Rebecca Targett Productions in association with Raising Silver Theatre today announce the full cast for world premiere of Rose Lewenstein's new play at the Arcola Theatre. Katie Lewis directs Jasmine Blackborow (Rosie), Daniel Donskoy (Sebastian), Brigit Forsyth (Eva), Wendy Nottingham (Susan),Bernard Lloyd (Arnold) and Andrew Whipp (Paul). The production opens on 5 June, with previews from 3 June, and runs until 27 June 2015.
World Premiere of SOVIET ZION to Debut in London this Autumn
The new musical drama Soviet Zion will make its debut in London this October. It tells the story of an American family and a Ukrainian family who in 1939 both move to Siberia participating in a movement to create there a socialist Yiddish-speaking utopia. The reality they face is not what they had been led to believe, and great personal sacrifice will have to be made in order for them to achieve the freedom they seek.
