Jazz Men Come To Frankston This Month
JAZZ MEN arrived in Melbourne at the Athenaeum theatre in January 2024 to acclaim from critics and audiences alike. Now it is set to bring its dance routines to a series of follow- up seasons. Next stop is Frankston on Thursday 21st March at Frankston Arts Centre.

Presented by the Arsht Center for three days only during Miami Art Week 2022, William Kentridge’s THE HEAD & THE LOAD invites audiences directly onto the Lynn Wolfson stage of the Ziff Ballet Opera House to be immersed in a powerful story about African people’s role in World War I.

The video has been recorded live at the Rainbow Wood Studio in Bath, where Liz wrote the song with producer Ed Graves, who also plays synths in the video. They are joined by Dan Lewis-Neale on drums, who also features heavily on her forthcoming debut album The Words out later this year via Ultra Records.

Cody Dericks, is a graduate of Hofstra University whose Chicago credits include HOLDING THE MAN and JERKER for Pride Films and Plays, has has stepped into the role of Alex, the graduate student who along with his husband Josh (Marc Prince), welcomes a third young man, Darius (Jesse James Montoya) into their bed.

Marc Prince to Join the Cast of AFTERGLOW
Marc Prince will assume the role of Josh, one-half of a gay male couple that invites a third man into their bed, in Pride Films and Plays' Chicago Premiere of S. Asher Gelman's AFTERGLOW. Prince has most recently been seen on Chicago stages in Hell in a Handbag's POSEIDON! and as Horse in THE FULL MONTY with Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre. In 2018, he played Sarge in Pride Films and Plays's YANK! A WWII LOVE STORY.

Conceived and directed by company member Annie Perry with original music by Phil Maniaci the opera will play Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays at 8pm, July 26 to August 19, 2013.
