Sting Joins THE HOMEBOUND PROJECT
The Homebound Project has announced that it will return on January 27–31 with its sixth edition. Music icon Sting and actors Paul Sparks and Eden Malyn join the previously announced team of actors, playwrights, and directors.

At this time of national trauma and unrest, The Homebound Project has decided to temporarily postpone the Sixth Edition of its online theater initiative, which was scheduled to stream online January 13–17, 2021.

BWW Interview: Hilary Bettis of QUEEN OF BASEL at Studio Theatre
It was only a matter of time before a Hilary Bettis play received a full production in DC. Her work has brought her to Orlando Shakes PlayFest, Bay Area Playwrights Festival, O'Neill National Playwrights Conference, New York Theatre Workshop, Cape Cod Theatre Project and La Jolla Playhouse, among many, many others. She is one of the newest members of The Kilroys and was a writer for FX's The Americans. In her Artistic Statement, she tells us that "through Story we can climb inside others' lives, and quite possibly find understanding, empathy, unity and forgiveness." Her plays - which include Alligator and The Ghosts of Lote Bravo - reveal a writer who cares deeply about the possibility of change through human interaction.
Ensemble Studio Theatre Announces Casting For World Premiere Of DIDO OF IDAHO
ENSEMBLE STUDIO THEATRE (EST) (William Carden, Artistic Director, Paul A. Slee, Executive Director), EST's YOUNGBLOOD (Graeme Gillis and RJ Tolan, Co-Artistic Directors), whose past plays include the Tony Award-nominated Hand to God, and The Radio Drama Network are proud to announce casting for the World Premiere of DIDO OF IDAHO, written by Abby Rosebrock (Singles in Agriculture) and directed by Mikhaela Mahony (Noise of the Future). The Hostos Center for the Arts and Culture to Present LA NENA SE CASA
The Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture presents Repertorio Español performing the popular comedy La nena se casa (Our Little Girl is Getting Married) on Saturday, October 29, 7 PM in the Repertory Theater at Hostos Community College. Called "acerbic with biting wit," La nena se casa is a satirical indictment of the vanity, superficiality and desperation of Puerto Rico's upper classes. La nena se casa was just recently retired from Repertorio Español's regular rotation, and the Hostos performance is the only performance currently scheduled of this popular play which will be performed in Spanish with English surtitles above the stage
