De Profundis, a new musical by Paul Dale Vickers, based on the letter playwright Oscar Wilde wrote to his young lover, Bosie, from his prison cell in Reading jail in 1897, has won Leicester Square Theatre's The New Musical Project, and will premiere in a six-week season in The Lounge at Leicester Square Theatre from Thursday May 1 - Sunday 8 June. Award-nominated Vertigo Theatre Productions recently had the great honour of producing the UK Premiere Productions of Legendary writer/performer Charles Busch's Off Broadway (and movie) camp masterpieces ‘Die, Mommie, Die! and Psycho Beach Party. Both productions smashed box office records for Vertigo and audience members chose the 2 shows (along with Vertigo's original drama OUT!) as their favourite shows by the company.
