KINKY BOOTS to Present Special Halloween Sing-a-Long Performance
Everybody Say Yeah (and sing out) because Kinky Boots is doing a SING-A-LONG performance! Celebrate Halloween this year Kinky Boots Style by getting dressed up (optional!) and heading to Stage 42 on October 31st, where the audience is encouraged to sing along with some of their favorite tunes from the show during the performance.

Kinky Boots released a sneak peek into their rehearsal room as they prepare to return to the stage beginning on July 26th at off-Broadway’s Stage 42. The video features a behind the scenes look as the company prepares to put the boots on once again, as well as interviews with select company members about the show’s impact and the journey of bringing the uplifting story back to NYC.

As BroadwayWorld reported last week, West End and Broadway stars, Samantha Barks and Ramin Karimloo are set to star in the film adaptation of Laurence Mark Wythe's musical Tomorrow Morning. Tomorrow Morning has received previous productions in both London and Chicago and in 2009, won Chicago's Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Musical, in addition to a 2011 off-Broadway production at York Theatre. 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Niko Tsakalakos in The First Snow Record Release Show on January 31 at 11pm. Come celebrate award-winning singer/songwriter Niko Tsakalakos' first live performance marking his debut solo album, The First Snow. Brian Usifer (Music Director, Kinky Boots; Associate Music Supervisor The Book of Mormon) helms a 7 piece band comprised of players from the Kinky Boots orchestra. The concert will also feature special guest artists who will sing some of Niko's original stand-alone theatre songs as well as songs from his new musicals Alexander Supertramp and Pool Boy. D.B. Bonds directs.

Stark Sands to Preview KINKY BOOTS Song at 2012 TRU Love Benefit, 11/11
Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) has announced that Stark Sands, star of TV (Six Feet Under), movies (Pack of Dogs, Shall We Dance) and stage (American Idiot, Tony nominee for the Broadway revival of Journey's End) will be offering up a preview of the new incoming musical Kinky Boots by Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein at the 2012 TRU Love Benefit. The event will be held Sunday, November 11th with cocktails and hors d'ouevres at noon, luncheon at 1pm and performances at 2pm. Attendees will get a preview of a new Broadway song as well as a new venue: it all takes place at the wild and notorious Lucky Cheng's, which only just recently opened its new branch at 240 W. 52nd Street in New York's theater district.

The Fall 2012 semester started off on a high note at William Peace University as Broadway performers Courtney Balan (CRY-BABY, [TITLE OF SHOW]) and Kilty Reidy (THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, IN MY LIFE) recently paid a visit to the school's BFA Musical Theater students and conducted a week-long residency teaching master classes in voice, acting and dance.
