'Stompin' Ground' Wins GRAMMY for Best American Roots Performance
The recording is taken from the documentary film and soundtrack Take Me to the River: New Orleans, which celebrates the rich musical history, the heritage, legacy, and influence of New Orleans and Louisiana music through live sessions with local artists. “Stompin’ Ground” was produced by the film’s director Martin Shore and Eric Krasno.

The film hits theaters in NYC and LA today and will roll out to select cities nationwide during the month of May, list of showings HERE. The soundtrack is available now digitally, with a CD and deluxe vinyl release to come on May 27, 2022. A Take Me To The River: All Stars tour is also set for this May, and select musicians featured in the project will perform at music venues across the country.
