Broadway Inspirational Voices to Perform at Little Island in June Featuring Daniel J. Watts, Phylicia Rashad and More

It was announced today that Broadway Inspirational Voices, the Tony Award-winning not-for-profit choir, will gather together to perform two nights of special events of gospel and Broadway music at New York City’s newest public park, Little Island, on Saturday, June 19 and Sunday, June 20 at 8 PM ET. 
Broadway Inspirational Voices Founder Michael McElroy to Step Down After 27 Years; Allen Rene Louis to Take Over

Broadway Inspirational Voices announced today that Founder and Artistic Director Michael McElroy will step down from leading the organization after 27 years, effective June 30, 2021. McElroy will pass the baton to composer/lyricist, producer Allen René Louis, currently the Associate Artistic Director and a talented member of the BIV music team and choir.

On Monday, October 26, at TriBeCa Rooftop, the New York City-based 'arts peace corps' organization will produce its ninth annual Sing for Hope Gala in support of its arts outreach programs for communities in need. Co-Chaired by Sing for Hope champions Renee Fleming, Ann Ziff, Margie Loeb, and Muhammad Yunus, with Vice-Chairs The Arnhold Family, the gala will feature Mr. Batiste in an intimate performance, along with some exciting surprise musical guests.
