BIO

Cynthia Silver is an actress, teacher, writer, director, solo performer, "mompreneur" and CA girl gone NYer. She teaches at the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School and is an ensemble member of Partial Comfort Productions. Her one woman show, BRIDEZILLA STRIKES BACK!, earned her much critical acclaim ("...an American Bridget Jones" NYTimes) and FringeNYC's Overall Excellence Award for Outstanding Solo Show. Other theatre credits include Paper Cranes (Packawallop); Carnival Round the Central Figure (IRT); KIDSTUFF and Open House (Partial Comfort); The Adding Machine, Scenes from the New World, Jitterbugging: Scenes of Sex in a New Society, The Loop and The House of Yes (Mobius Group Productions); All Things Considered (Atlantic Theater Company). Small & big screen credits include "CSI: NY", "L&O: Criminal Intent", The Green, Colin Fitz Lives! and the upcoming Light Years. Cynthia resides in New York City with her husband, Matt, a production stage manager, and their daughter, Sadie.
