OKLAHOMA! Closes at Arena Stage
Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater announces that its inaugural production, Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma!, extends through December 30, 2010, adding six performances to its run in the iconic Fichandler Stage.

As the leaves are turning into a rainbow of colors, and we await the first snowflakes to fall, DC theatergoers are anticipating Arena Stage's first two productions in their new Mead Center, while Harry Connick, Jr. introduces children to a friendly elf, and Snow White and a red rose and a guy named Fred make a stop at The Kennedy Center. That red-haired orphan brings Sandy and a bitchy Ms. Hannigan and a pooch named Sandy to Olney, MD. Synetic Theater Artistic Director and his wife/choreographer reunite on the stage, a Ziegfeld Folly stars in a one-woman show, and doughnuts are served at The Studio Theatre.

After a smash sellout at the August Wilson Theater with their 15th Anniversary Reunion Benefit Concert of The Who's Tommy last December, ROCKERS ON BROADWAY returned to BB King's on Monday November 2nd with another star-studded benefit show. Directed by Donnie Kehr, ROCKERS ON BROADWAY-Celebrating the '60s honored the songs and performers from Rock's greatest decade and will feature a 'who's who' of classic recording artists performing alongside some of the biggest stars on Broadway, all to benefit Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, Broadway Dreams Foundation and the Bendheim Center/Scholarship Fund.
