Photo Flash: A Look Inside Rehearsals of Everyday Inferno's IPHIGENIA AMONG THE TAURIANS
Everyday Inferno Theatre Company is thrilled to offer a first look inside rehearsals for Iphigenia Among the Taurians (part of the 20th annual New York International Fringe Festival). The free outdoor production, directed by Anais Koivisto and produced by Katherine Sommer, is a world premiere adaptation of Euripides' powerful and thought-provoking finale to the famed House of Atreus cycle. This rarely performed Greek tragicomedy is bolstered by buoyant contemporary language and... a-cappella pop music. Check out a first look at rehearsals below!

Heart of Oak, a new play by Laura Hirschberg will play five performances at The Kraine Theater as part of the FRIGID New York festival. Directed by Anais Koivisto, the evening features a cast that includes Leslie Gauthier (St Ann's Warehouse, Lincoln Center), Sam Bruce, Cristina M. Ramos, Jacob Owen, Tsebiyah Mishael, Kasey Brown, Dax Dupuy and Mariah Freda. Katherine Sommer produces, with fight choreography by Jon Meyer.

The implausible story came straight from the bottom of the barrel tabloid, The Weekly World News. Three teenage spelunkers in West Virginia find a half human/half bat creature. The local sheriff brings him to the home of the town's veterinarian, Dr. Parker, whose kind wife, Meredith, takes care of him and transforms him into a likeable person. Their rebellious teenage daughter, Shelley, falls in love with him and Meredith reveals a shocking secret: Bat Boy is Shelley's twin brother!
