Crissy Guerrero

CRISSY GUERRERO is an actor, singer, podcast producer, voice teacher and theater instructor educated at the Catholic University of America, CSU Fullerton and South Coast Repertory. She produces and co-hosts content for Studio C & C on YouTube and all podcast platforms, as well as in live venues. Crissy & her partner, Claudia Dolph, interview theater, music, television, variety, and dance artists on their show, C & C in C(onversation). She is currently outsdie Chicago in the Marriott Theatre production of IN THE HEIGHTS as "Abuela Claudia." Crissy originated the role of “Soyla" in the World Premiere of AMERICAN MARIACHI by Jose Cruz Gonzales at the Denver Center for Performing Arts and The Old Globe Theatre in early 2018. She has played "Camila Rosario" in In the Heights at La Mirada Theatre, Dallas Theater Center and Riverside Theatre. Crissy was seen in the Theatreworks production of FUN HOME as "Helen Bechdel." In 2014, she appeared in the 4 person cast of two critically acclaimed productions of the late Lina Gallegos’ WILD IN WICHITA at the Los Angeles Theater Center, and Bilingual Foundation of the Arts.

She performed in 7 seasons of South Coast Repertory’s LA POSADA MAGICA, in two separate roles. She went on to produce and perform in LA POSADA MAGICA at the Odyssey Theater in Los Angeles. She was also seen at the Mark Taper Forum in BLACK BUTTERFLY, JAGUAR GIRLS & OTHER SUPERHEROES LIKE ME. She starred as “Helen Chavez” in Ed Begley, Jr.'s CESAR & RUBEN: THE MUSICAL in an extended run at the NoHo Arts Center, for which she was awarded "Outstanding Performance in a Musical" by L.A. Stage Scene. Crissy co-wrote, produced and performed in THE TRIBUTE which ran in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and Toronto to sold-out audiences. Crissy continues to tour as an "El Vette" with EL VEZ, THE MEXICAN ELVIS, with whom she has been performing around the world for over 20 years. She has appeared in various commercials and television shows, such as, THE ELLEN DE GENERES SHOW, THE GEORGE LOPEZ SHOW and MIND OF MENCIA, and her voice can be heard on BIG MOUTH, SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS, HANDY MANNY, PARKS & RECREATION & BIG MOUTH, as well as other TV shows and movie soundtracks.
