Courtney Dease is a singer and actor known for his versatility and charm. Whether he’s playing a leading man or a character role, he brings a passion and precision to his performances, that have been resonating with audiences across the globe.
Courtney made his national tour debut in Stephen Schwartz’s Pippin, where he traveled the country portraying the role of Lewis as well as tackling the title role of Pippin at select performances. He has also been seen Off-Broadway in shows such as Brilliant & Between Panic and Desire.. Courtney has also played Stuart Gellman in Caroline, Or Change with the West Coast Black Theatre Troupe directed by Jim Weaver, Dracula in Creature Feature at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Seymour Krelborn in Little Shop Of Horrors, Link Larkin in Hairspray at Florence Little Theatre, Huck Finn in Big River, Doody in Grease, The Baker in Into The Woods, and Matt in The Fantastics.
Throughout his career, he has traveled to almost 40 different countries and 5 continents performing with popular cruise lines. He performed Born To Dance, Fiera!, Bravo and, Sweet Soul Music with Princess Cruises as a Vocalist, Soundstage, Playback and, All For Love with Holland America Line and Equinox The Show, Remix and, Limelight with Celebrity Cruises.
Courtney’s strong vocal capabilities have allowed him to be a vocalist with the New England Symphonic Ensemble at Carnegie Hall, directed by John Rutter, and with the South Carolina Philharmonic Master Series at the Koger Center for the Arts, directed by Nicholas Smith. He also took part as a vocalist in two RWS Entertainment Group workshops entitled Dance! Dance! Dance! America and Sunset Party Mix.
In addition to his onstage work, Courtney enjoys being on-camera as well as lending his voice to voiceovers. Courtney can be seen in One Tree Hill and Dear John, and costarring in the film Aspersion. He was also cast in multiple commercials for known brands including Walmart, AT&T, Jelly Belly, SnackMagic, Rogue Bike Outlet, Sonic Electronix, Plug.Me.In App, and Axe.
Courtney has also won multiple awards including Best Performance Awards for Big River & Little Shop of Horrors and Outstanding Soloist Award for Music Festivals.
