Gloucester Stage Company Board President Makes Important Announcement
"Due to pressing family matters that require his attention, Managing Director Costin Manu has to return home for an undetermined period of time. He decided that, under the circumstances, he did not feel that he could devote adequate time to the fulfilling of his present duties for the GSC due to what might become a rather prolonged absence. Subsequently, after much deliberation and after having reached and accomplished nearly all of the goals and tasks for his contract year, after discussions with the board of directors, and, in fairness to the organization, Costin Manu made the difficult decision to resign from his position as Managing Director of the Gloucester Stage Company, effective September 26, 2014."

He understands the economic development potential that a business/theater interaction offers to a community. It will be fun introducing Costin Manu to the Gloucester community.' Gloucester Stage Artistic Director Eric Engel is excited to collaborate with the new Managing Director,' Costin is a great catch for the Gloucester Stage. He's a great administrator, a warm and articulate person, and a remarkably well-informed connoisseur of the theater. He's already proven to be a delightful and effective colleague.'
