The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center is thrilled to announce that tickets for Lightwire Theater's 'A VERY ELECTRIC CHRISTMAS will go on sale Friday, October 7 at 10 a.m. Since bursting to national acclaim after appearing as semi-finalists on 'America's Got Talent' and winning the top honors on TRU TV's 'Fake Off', Lightwire Theater has gone on to enthrall audiences worldwide with their unique combination of skill and grace as told through the technological innovations of moving light characters.
DINO-LIGHT to Play Grand 1894 Opera House, 3/27
The Grand 1894 Opera House's Serious Fun Children's Series presents The Kid's Entertainment's production of 'Dino-Light' Thursday, March 27 at 10am. Created, choreographed and directed by Ian Camey and Corbin Popp, the show displays a menagerie of illuminated figures from squiggles of thin neon piping set against a dark stage.
Westport Country Playhouse to Present DINO-LIGHT, 1/19
Westport Country Playhouse will continue its 2013-14 Family Festivities Series with 'Dino-Light,' a heart-rending original tale about Darwin, a friendly dinosaur, on Sunday, January 19, at 1 and 4 p.m., recommended for age five and up. Tickets are $20.

"Darwin the Dinosaur: A Glow in the Dark Adventure" is equal parts puppetry, dance and light show. Its creators, Ian Carney and Corbin Popp, met as dancers in Billy Joel and Twyla Tharp's "Movin' Out" on Broadway, and soon the "Darwin" vision evolved, making use of electroluminescent wire, blackout settings and their own skill as hand and body puppeteers.

CORBiAN Visual Arts and Dance is a unique group of individuals, led by artistic directors Ian Carney and Corbin Popp, who are committed to bringing startling and engaging imagery to the stage. By utilizing illuminated wiring, puppetry, and a troupe well versed in dance and movement, they're able to bring their simple, but elegant sketches to life. Their clever production DARWIN played the Edison Theatre this past weekend (May 8, 2010), and provided a large and receptive audience with an eye-popping display of storytelling that's like nothing else you've ever seen.
