This stunning play is from groundbreaking playwright Athena Stevens, whose mainstream cannon of work speaks to the experience of disability in the human condition. Questioning the power dynamics between genders and abilities; at its heart, Schism is a play about two people finding each other, asking at what point dreams and relationships become unrealistic or out of date. Stan's Cafe to Premiere Newest Show at Birmingham Repertory Theatre
Celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, the internationally acclaimed Stan's Cafe premiere their latest show at Birmingham Repertory Theatre from 14 - 21 May (press night Tue 17 May, 8pm), followed by a tour of the North East from 24 May - 11 June. Featuring their playfully inventive style, Made Up reveals the surprising and moving relationship between a young actress and her make-up artist.
