BIO

Connor Carew is in his fourth season at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. Previous STNJ credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Snout) on the Outdoor Stage; Midsummer (Bottom, twice), Macbeth (Banquo), and Romeo and Juliet (Friar Lawrence) in two tours with the ShakespeareLIVE! company; and The Odyssey (Eurylochus) and The Taming of the Shrew (Baptista) with the Next Stage Ensemble. Regional Credits: Much Ado About Nothing (Friar Francis, Verges) and Henry V (Gloucester) at Two River Theatre Co.; Troilus and Cressida (Antenor, Margarelon) and Julius Caesar (Brutus) with the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival. Connor holds degrees from Temple University and The New School for Drama.

BWW Review: Governmental bureaucracy is serious yet slyly hilarious in Voyage Theater Company's THE HOPE HYPOTHESIS at The Sheen Center

Is playwright Cat Miller in possession of an oversized blender?  For her play The Hope Hypothesis, she tosses in Alice in Wonderland, a Kafkaesque tale, absurdist comedy, a spy thriller, soap opera histrionics and a deep state government mystery all together.  She turns the dial to frappe because that's the most fun setting.  Out pours a surprisingly refreshing and very delicious treat which successfully manages to be equally dark and light.
