BIO

Connor Baty is a recently graduated actor with a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance from The Boston Conservatory 2014. He is living in Chicago on that new actor grind and freezing his butt off.

He hails from the quaint Overland Park, a suburb of Kansas City and has a lot of KC pride and a dog named Margarita.

While his degree is in Musical Theatre he also was a student director, directing productions such as Leonard Melfi's Birdbath and Zombie Prom. He also developed his own production of J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan.

"Few actors can match Connor Baty’s fire within him. The passionate young man lights up the stage with his electric presence. You know how sometimes your eyes are drawn to a performer and you can’t quite discover why? Well, that’s what I like to call the “It” factor, and Baty has it in spades." - Brian Balduzzi, My Entertainment World

Connor Baty was recently nominated for a 2014 ArtsImpulse Theatre Best Student Actor Award for his role as Charley Kringas in Merrily We Roll Along.
