JOYCE'S WOMEN By Edna O'Brien Will Open at the Abbey This September
One of Ireland's greatest contemporary writers, Edna O'Brien, turns her attention to the life of one of the country's greatest novelists, James Joyce, in a powerful new play Joyce's Women. Written for the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Ulysses, this world premiere from Edna O'Brien gives voice to the women who were central to the life of James Joyce.
Autumn Productions Announced At The Abbey Theatre

These two exceptional Irish writers have led the way in bringing the untold, unexamined stories of Ireland to the world, with a vital influence on the generation that followed. Two extraordinary new productions of their work will be seen at the Abbey Theatre this Autumn, as part of Dublin Theatre Festival.
Irish National Opera Announces 2021-22 Season
Irish National Opera’s 2021-22 season is its biggest ever, and its most diverse. The branching out includes the company’s largest-ever outdoor undertaking, Richard Strauss’s epic Elektra, in the atmospheric setting of the Castle Yard in Kilkenny with Belfast soprano Giselle Allen making her INO debut as the vengeful heroine.

Casting Announced For The World Premiere of ASKING FOR IT By Louise O'Neill
Today casting details were announced for the much anticipated world premiere production of Asking for It by Louise O'Neill produced by Landmark Productions and the Everyman and co-commissioned by the Abbey Theatre. This world premiere production will open at the Everyman as part of Cork Midsummer Festival on 15 June.
World Premiere Of Louise O'Neill's ASKING FOR IT Set For The Everyman Stage 2018
It was announced today that the world premiere production of Asking for It by Louise O'Neill will be performed on the Abbey stage next November. This much anticipated production is produced by Landmark Productions and the Everyman and co-commissioned by the Abbey Theatre. Conceived as a large-scale, technically ambitious production, it will be adapted for stage by Meadhbh McHugh in a collaboration with Annabelle Comyn, who also directs. The creative team also includes set designer Paul O'Mahony; lighting designer Sinead McKenna; sound designer Philip Stewart. Tickets for both venues are on sale now.
PICT Receives NEA Grant
Pittsburgh Irish & Classical Theatre has received a $10,000 Access to Artistic Excellence grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, for their production of Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest.
