Howard Community College's (HCC) Arts Collective continues its 23rd season with 'Holiday Memories,' adapted for the stage by Russell Vandenbroucke, from Truman Capote's favorite holiday stories, 'The Thanksgiving Visitor' and 'A Christmas Memory.' The production will take place December 7-10, in the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center's (HVPA) Studio Theatre.

Howard Community College's Arts Collective continues its 22nd season with “A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play”, adapted for the stage by Joe Landry, with music by Kevin Connors, from the novella by Charles Dickens. The production will take place December 8–11, in the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center's Studio Theatre.

Dance, Music and Theater Premieres Set for Peak Performances Upcoming Season
Seven years ago, an unsuspecting New Jersey township, population 37,569, became the epicenter of the international avant-garde. The culprit is named Peak Performances. Refusing to rent celebrities or Hollywood names to sweeten the lure, Peak chose not to blink and to go hardcore. Peak Performances continues its radical mission this coming season when it brings some of the world's most original and challenging artists from across the globe to brighten the stage of Montclair State University's Alexander Kasser Theater, located at 1 Normal Avenue. Jedediah Wheeler is Peak's Artistic Director.

The Baltimore Playwrights Festival (www.baltplayfest.com) announces its monthly public meeting to be held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15th, at Fells Point Corner Theater, 251 S. Ann Street, Baltimore, MD 21042. Items on the agenda include a discussion of progress on organizing a Playwrights Symposium, and strategic planning for the BPF. After the meeting there will be a staged reading of a new play, Web of Deceit, by Colin Riley, followed by a discussion of the script with the playwright, director and actors. The event is free, and the general public is encouraged to attend.
