The special evening at the theater - which will feature Julia Roberts, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jake Gyllenhaal, Hugh Jackman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, Emily Blunt, Neil Patrick Harris, Helen Mirren and many more - will include never-before-seen duets and collaborations to raise money for the Hillary Victory Fund. Fire Island Dance Festival returned for its 21st edition July 17-19, 2015, with some of the most talked-about world-class dance companies, raising a record-breaking $544,555 for Dancers Responding to AIDS, a program of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Complexions Contemporary Ballet (Complexions) celebrates the company's 20th anniversary season with a run at The Joyce Theater from November 18-30. On a program consisting of three premieres and a selection of repertory favorites, Artistic Directors Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson salute the company's inaugural 1994 performance with appearances featuring special guest artists, including Desmond Richardson and American Ballet Theatre's Misty Copeland.

President Obama Greets Presidio Students at the Rose Marine Latino Film Festival

Artes de la Rosa will host the World Premiere Screening of It is Rocket Science in Presidio at the 2nd Annual Rose Marine Latino Film Festival. The film will screen on Saturday, February 25th at 7:00 p.m. Directed by Academy and Emmy Award winner Nigel Noble, the film is a short documentary of a Texasborder town physics teacher and her students' unprecedented success in national science and rocketry competitions. Students featured in the film, from the Presidio Rocketry Team, were recently invited to the White House where they participated in the 2nd White House Science Fair this past Tuesday. There, they met President Obama and invited him to the Premiere of the film documenting their journey at Rose Marine Latino Film Festival. A copy of the film was then presented to the Commander-in-Chief. Director Nigel Noble and students from the team will be in attendance at the screening of the film Saturday the 25th.
