BIO

Claire Manship is an actor, singer, dancer from Northern Virginia, who currently resides in New York City. Her most recent credits include a reading of BLISS at Bay Street Theatre, and starring in Music Theatre Wichita's Hairspray, STAGES St. Louis' regional premiere of It Shoulda Been You and DreamWorks' Madagascar, Miss Saigon at Signature Theatre, Theatreworks USA's Click Clack Moo, and a staged reading of Austentatious with Philadelphia's 11th Hour Theatre Company. Claire has also produced multiple concert series in NYC, including The Ladies Who Lunch, benefitting Planned Parenthood of NYC, at Feinstein?s/54 Below. She holds a BFA in Acting from Elon University, and has also trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City. Claire loves hiking in Central Park, watching NBC and Netflix comedies, and baking cookies like there's no tomorrow. Claire is represented by Craig Holzberg at Avalon Artists Group and is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association. Photo Flash: Music Theatre Wichita presents HAIRSPRAY

Music Theatre Wichita continues its 2017 Season, 'Hollywood to Broadway: A Summer Festival of Musical Theatre' by welcoming patrons to the 60s with a new version of Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman's Tony Award-winning musical Hairspray, which runs July 12-16 in the Century II Concert Hall in downtown Wichita, KS. The third of five locally produced Broadway-scale productions, Hairspray is part of the organization's 46th season, which is also the 30th season for producing artistic director Wayne Bryan.

MOTOWN Cast Members Reunite at Broadway Sessions, 9/22

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.
