Hofstra Spring Drama Alums Land Only US Spot at Internationall Theatre Festival
Five Hofstra University drama alums are heading to Spoleto, Italy, to perform at the 10th edition of the European Young Theatre Festival later this month - the only American college students to participate in this year's prestigious international showcase and one of few in the history of the event to receive an invitation.

ON WOMEN Theater Festival Explores Power Of Female Experience
Irondale, Brooklyn's leading theatrical ensemble producing immersive and non-traditional performance, will present On Women, a two-week theater festival that places the feminine perspective in the spotlight, April 22- May 4. With three different works that highlights Irondale's mission to both focus on increasingly diverse programming and works that tackle themes of present day, L'Atalier Theater Productions will present the world premiere of The Franca Rame Project,Cindy Rosenthal will direct George Brant's Grounded, and Hannah Reimann will present the world premiere of Both Sides Now: The Music of Joni Mitchell, The Early Years 1966-1974.

La MaMa Presents EXTREME WHETHER, A Cli-Fi Play By Karen Malpede
From March 1 to 18, La MaMa will present Theater Three Collaborative in a new production of 'Extreme Whether,' a 'Cli-Fi' play written and directed by Karen Malpede. The piece juxtaposes psychological and magical realism in a tale of a courageous climate researcher who is defamed by special interests, including his own family. Obie-winner Rocco Sisto heads a cast of six.
