BIO

Cillian Murphy is an Irish actor. He started his career as a rock musician and began his acting career in theatre, and in short and independent films in the late 1990s. His many theatre productions include Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing (1998), The Country Boy (1999) and Juno and the Paycock (also 1999). Most recently, he appeared at St. Ann's Warehouse in Brooklyn, NY in the play, Grief is the Thing With Feathers (2019).



Select television and film credits include Peaky Blinders (2013 to present), In the Heart of the Sea (2017), The Dark Knight (2008), and Batman Begins (2005).
