BIO

Chuk Obasi is an actor, writer, and director whose professional work has spanned across theatre, film, television, dance, and poetry performance. He currently serves as Co-Director of TÉA Artistry, and is also a member of The People’s Theatre Project, The Private Theatre, and the Michael Chekhov Association (MICHA).

Recent projects include new play Being Chaka (co-writer and co-director) at the New Ohio Theatre; The Diamond (director) at Pregones Theatre; and Doña Mañana (Performer) at the Riverside Theatre.

Obasi is a proud New York City Native and son of Nigerian immigrants. He is represented UIA Talent Agency.
