CHRISTÓPHEREN NOMURA stands at the forefront of his generation of singers. He has performed throughout the world, hailed as one of classical music’s “rising stars” by the Wall Street Journal. He has earned a prominent place on the operatic, concert, and recital stages, appearing with the Boston Symphony, Philadelphia Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony, Minnesota Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra, and the Vancouver Symphony under such conductors as Leonard Bernstein, Seiji Ozawa, James Conlon, Roger Norrington, Ton Koopman, Paul Goodman, and Jane Glover. He has sung at prominent Festivals in Cartagena, Aspen, Santa Fe, Marlboro, Tanglewood, Ravinia, La Jolla, and with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. Operatic productions have included the Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Hawaii Opera, Dallas Opera and Cincinnati Opera.
