BIO

Christopher Stephens is a voice teacher, pianist, and music director/arranger living in New York City. He has worked on and off-Broadway in shows such as Matilda, Wicked, Shout! the Mod Musical, Captain Louie, Anything Goes, Bells Are Ringing, Channeling Doris Day, as well Carnegie Hall's Take the Stage with the Broadway Stars (starring Tony Award winner Jessie Mueller). Catherine Fitzmaurice, Ricky Ian Gordon, Tiffany Haas, Adam Jacobs, Morgan James, Tina Landau, Alan Menken, Kelvin Moon Loh, Kelli O'Hara, Heather Parcells, Rachel Potter, Mandy Patinkin, Christine Pedi, Rachel Potter, and Emily Skinner are several of the many artists for whom Christopher has served as pianist. Teaching credits include AMDA, NYCDA, NYU, Pace University, Wright State University, the Artist's Crossing, Broadway Campus International, Destination Broadway, Go Broadway, Shanghai Theatre Academy, Torggler Vocal Institute, West End Musical Theater, and Utah Conservatory. Coeurage Ensemble Announces THE NOMAD PROJECT

AMDA AUDITIONS in Buenos Aires Coming 10/6

Auditions in Buenos Aires will be on Saturday October 6th at 10 am.  All performers who audition, and who are accepted, are awarded scholarships to AMDA ranging from $1000 to $15, 000 per year of study. A monologue and a song are required for the audition.

ANYTHING GOES Returns Off-Broadway Through March

Back by popular demand, Musicals Tonight!'s production of Cole Porter's hit musical Anything Goes returns to The Lion Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42 Street) for a limited engagement February 27th through March 11th. Anything Goes is helmed by Casey Colgan who returns to the production as director and choreographer. Christopher Stephens is the musical director and costumes are designed by Jack Maisenbach.
