ARC Announces New Artistic Leadership
ARC has announced that Resident Artist Deborah Drakeford, a vital member of the company for more than 15 years, is now taking on the role of co-Artistic Producer of the company. Deborah has been a Toronto based actor for over 30 years, and an educator for almost 20 years. With one-half of our dynamic leadership team in place, we are also pleased to announce our search for co-Artistic Producer number two.
BWW Review: OIL at Geary Lane
OIL, which premiered last night at Geary Lane, is an epic story, an eat-before-you-arrive play that will take up your evening and take over your mind. It consists of five vignettes across five periods of history, beginning in the late 19th century and continuing into a bleak, imagined future. The scenes are united by theme - oil, modernity, ambition, isolation - and character: each scene follows a woman called May, a mother or mother-to-be, who only wants the best for her child.

The Grand Theatre Announces THE GLASS MENAGERIE
The Grand Theatre is thrilled to produce Tennessee Williams' THE GLASS MENAGERIE on the McManus Stage. The production, directed by the Grand's Artistic Associate Megan Watson, stars Sarah Orenstein as Amanda Wingfield, Stephen Jackman-Torkoff as Tom Wingfield, Alexander Crowther as Jim O'Connor, and Amy Keating as Laura Wingfield. Nick Blais is the production designer and Christopher Stanton is the music and sound designer.

YPT presents Anita Majumdar's BOYS WITH CARS
Young People's Theatre (YPT) is thrilled to present Anita Majumdar's Boys With Cars. An award-winning actress, playwright and dancer, Majumdar wrote, choreographed and performs in this powerful coming of age piece. Commissioned and produced by Nightswimming with additional development support by Young People's Theatre and The Banff Centre, Boys With Cars will be presented on YPT's Mainstage from March 23 to April 1, 2017.
Tarragon to Stage New Kat Sandler Play MUSTARD
Tarragon Theatre presents the world premiere of Mustard, a darkly comic fairytale by one of Toronto's hottest and most prolific young playwrights and directors, Kat Sandler, in her debut work for the company. This whimsical production about a mother and daughter navigating life after divorce is directed byAshlie Corcoran, who now helms her second work for Tarragon (the first was the Tarragon-Theatre Smash co-production of The Ugly One two seasons ago). Mustardpreviews from February 2, opens February 10 and runs to March 13 in Tarragon's Extraspace.
