BIO
Christopher Isolano (Boris) made his off-Broadway debut as Boris in The Golden Cage as a part of the CreateTheater New Works Festival for which he earned the award for Best Actor in the festival. He also recently gained notice in The NY Times for originating the role of the “Anxiety Monster” in the new children’s musical, Petunia’s Big Day! – which streamed from the New Ohio Theatre on Eventive! Originally from Long Island, and a graduate of Pace University’s Musical Theater program, Chris is a multifaceted performer who has worked regionally with Theatre Aspen, The Hangar, The Gateway and in NYC with Barrington Stage Co., IRT Theater and at Lincoln Center. Most recent credits: Fancy Nancy (AMT Theater), Hooked (Theatre Row) & Fowl Play (Playbill Pride Mainstage). Chris can also be found producing concerts and managing the newly opened off-Broadway venue, Theater 555 on 42nd St. @Chris-Isolano

A recipient of DCA's inaugural CreateNYC Disability Forward Fund, IRT Theater will present six work in progress presentations of the new musical, Stepchild. This fully accessible piece is a radical retelling of Cinderella, seen through the eyes of a young Deaf woman coming of age in a kingdom violently intolerant of difference. All presentations will take place at IRT's Greenwich Village home from May 29- June 2, 2019.
