Boston Stage Company credits include leading roles in The Game, Cyrano de Bergerac, The Importance of Being Earnest, Ring Round the Moon, Private Lives, Carousel, A Streetcar Named Desire, Absurd Person Singular, The Crucible, Much Ado About Nothing, and His Girl Friday. At BSC he has directed The Other Place, The Whipping Man, Shining City and Mark St. Germain's Period Piece/Collyer Brothers and Camping with Henry and Tom. Innvar was seen last year on the screen in the acclaimed film The Post. Recent TV credits include The Sinner, The Blacklist: Redemption and Chicago Fire. His Broadway credits include: Victor/Victoria, Les Miserables, The Three Penny Opera, 110 in the Shade, The People in the Picture, The Snow Geese and The Gershwin's Porgy and Bess. Off Broadway credits include the title role in Floyd Collins at Playwrights Horizons, recorded on Nonesuch Records, NYSF's King Lear at the Delacorte, Atlantic Theatre, Vineyard, Transport Group, Red Bull, MTC and Lincoln Center. His most recent acting work was playing Banquo in Dan Sullivan's Macbeth at Berkeley Rep opposite Conleth Hill and Frances McDormand. Other regional work at Steppenwolf, Guthrie, Yale Rep, Long Wharf, Wilma and more. He is an aflliated artist with The Shakespeare Theatre Company in DC. His latest play Turtles was published in a compilation of short plays for teens by Applause Books in June of 2017.
